RiverDogs–Chamber Join Forces for One-Day “Fun Is Good” Seminar on April 17
CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston RiverDogs and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host a one-day “Fun Is Good” seminar on April 17 from 9 am-3 pm at the Charleston Marriott.
Entitled “When the Economy Tanks…You Don’t Have To,” the event features RiverDogs President Mike Veeck and a lineup of “all-stars” as keynote speakers.
The “Fun Is Good” one-day seminar is designed to show how to empower the workplace and help a business or organization achieve success. Participants will be reminded that laughter isn’t only the best medicine, but can be the key ingredient in turning a floundering business into a profitable one or jump-start one that has stalled.
Those attending will be exposed to the value of customer service – the lifeblood of any business – as well as the importance of a positive attitude, especially during these turbulent economic times. Further, the seminar will focus on what companies should look for when hiring people and how employees can forge a “Fun Is Good” career path.
Veeck and his “all-star” lineup, in addition to orchestrated break-out forums, will address a cross-section of sales, marketing, promotion and operational issues. From customer service to building per-cap sales, staging the best promotions to corporate sales, the 2009 “Fun Is Good” Conference offers fresh ideas, encourages creative problem solving and provides a venue to exchange ideas.
